Born in Mexico City, Celia has passions for multimedia story telling, photography, radio, and film.She is fluent in both English and Spanish; her skills consist of photography, filming, and reporting.
Supplementary abilities involve knowledge in different film and sound editing programs like Final Cut Pro, Audacity, Pro Tools, GarageBand, and iMovie.She also uses SoundSlides, and Adobe programs.
She discovered the passion that journalism brings out in people when she attended a Journalism Association of Community Colleges convention in Fall 2008. It was then that she made a personal commitment to Journalism.
At California State University Fullerton Professor Monti mentored her as a Radio, TV and Film major.
Celia would like to use her skills in reporting, filming and photography to produce engaging and informative pieces, whether they are interactive media projects or documentaries.
Her interests include various art forms, antiques, languages, cultural adventures, music, films, dancing, literature, travel and the outdoors.
